I'm beginning to think that I should, you know, read it already.

@ jeepersteepers:

Scrubs is another thing I'm looking forward to consuming. The Abigail and I have Season One on DVD. We'll probably get to it in the downtime between seasons of Lost and Dollhouse.

And in general, don't sweat the "Sci Fi fantasy" specificity. I'm a firm believer in the principle that writing is writing, and most of what you could say applies to everything creative.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8417850843973944836.post-81696109613319693112009-05-18T19:10:00.000-07:002009-05-18T19:10:00.000-07:00Ok, now I get that you're referring specifically t...Ok, now I get that you're referring specifically to sci-fi/fantasy couples.

But the truth is, the lack of couples that are stable AND sexy is a problem in most fiction out there. Which is why the examples I gave jumped out at me--because I've had this conversation with a friend before, and those two examples came up.

And congratulations on the engagement, by the way.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8417850843973944836.post-13590987429807760222009-05-18T15:04:00.000-07:002009-05-18T15:04:00.000-07:00Turk and Carla on Scrubs I watched only the first ...Turk and Carla on Scrubs I watched only the first three seasons of that show, but as far as I know, they remained together. The main couple has been together for quite a while by the end of the latter books, and yet they still are happy and have a good sex life. Moreover, they deal with the fact that she's kinky and he's vanilla by allowing her to have kinky sex with paid clients three times a year. (The main character enjoys vanilla sex, but needs kink occasionally)Beccahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11095275967947187449noreply@blogger.com
